ZAMBIA

In the Msupadzi area, access to clean water remains one of the community’s most urgent challenges. Many villagers must walk long distances or rely on overcrowded boreholes and unsafe streams, which are often shared with animals, to meet their daily water needs. This not only poses serious health risks but also affects their ability to fully participate in church gatherings and community life.

Zambia, Msupadzi area, need access to clean water

To bring hope, the Catholic Church is working to drill ten new boreholes, with a special focus on mission sites. Mission sites are holy areas where Catholics gather in fellowship and welcome priests once a month for the sacraments. These boreholes will ease congestion, improve hygiene, and restore dignity to families who have long struggled without reliable access to clean water.

Clean water is more than a basic need; it’s a foundation for physical health, spiritual growth, and economic opportunity. With your support, we can help transform lives and deepen the community’s connection to God through this life-giving gift.
