LOGOS Preistly Center, located at the foot of the Iztaccíhuatl Volcano in Mexico, offers two 5-day retreats each year—one in May and the other in October—focused on the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. Each retreat welcomes about 40–50 priests, providing a transformative space for spiritual renewal and a profound encounter with God.

LOGOS Preistly Center, located at the foot of the Iztaccíhuatl Volcano in Mexico, offers two 5-day retreats each year—one in May and the other in October—focused on the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.

These spiritual exercises are vital for priests facing the demands and challenges of ministry. They offer opportunities to deepen their relationship with God, clarify their vocation, receive emotional support, and build community with fellow clergy. As a result, priests emerge revitalized and better equipped to serve with renewed zeal and effectiveness— benefiting the Church and their communities.

Although these retreats are offered at a low cost, many parishes and dioceses still struggle to afford them. Thanks to the KOCH Foundation and CWM’s support, LOGOS can cover the cost for 100 priests!

This support helps bishops form their clergy, especially in underserved dioceses. Broader participation in deep, silent Ignatian retreats fosters true spiritual regeneration among priests—strengthening their piety, energizing their ministries, and ultimately benefiting society, which suffers from injustice, violence, and poverty.

Priests Refresh Their Faith

May 2025

The spring Spiritual Exercises Retreat organized by the LOGOS Priestly Center took place from May 12-16th at the Santa María de la Cascada center in Amecameca, Mexico. Approximately 40 priests serving in  Archdioceses across Mexico and El Salvador participated.

Through guided prayer, meditation, and contemplation, priests refreshed their faith, reignited their passion, and rediscovered their purpose. Daily conferences outlined meditation themes, while spiritual directors offered guidance to explore their experiences of the Holy Spirit.

“These are true spiritual exercises, conducted in an environment of silence that invites reflection.”
